Asahi’s self-foaming draft beer in aluminium cans marks its debut in Singapore

Japan-based Asahi Super Dry brewery has unleashed its self-foaming draft beer in cans upon the shores of Singapore. These avant-garde aluminium cans crafted by Asahi boast a distinctive feature that allows beer enthusiasts to tear off the entire top, aiming to replicate the immersive experience of savouring draft beer in a lively pub or bar setting.

But the ingenuity doesn't stop there – hidden within the aluminium cans are tiny bumps strategically placed by Asahi Breweries Ltd, working their magic to produce an exuberant head on the beer when the can is opened.
This revolutionary beverage made its grand entrance on April 4, 2021, hitting convenience stores, and later on April 20, 2021, gracing supermarkets across Japan, only to fly off the shelves in a blink, leaving satisfied customers in its frothy wake.
The foamy frenzy has now reached the Lion City, as Asahi's self-foaming elixir debuted at FairPrice outlets in Singapore. Following its successful launch in South Korea, the brand has set its sights on expanding its foaming phenomenon to the vibrant streets of Hong Kong and beyond.
